'Mod the carry capacity': 25+ Gamers confess classic gaming 'sins' they regularly commit

Video games are supposed to be fun, so why am I screaming at my console and throwing the controller across the room after getting defeated for the 100th time by Malenia in Elden Ring? We're gamers–that's why.

Children's soccer leagues and T-ball were supposed to teach us good sportsmanship as a child, but for those of us who played video games instead, we've noticed the opposite effect from our 'sports'. Video games have turned us all into sour losers, rage quitters, and borderline cheaters because even though we want to succeed in a game, we also want to have fun.

And if 'having fun' means cutting corners on the rules of the game, so be it.

In this next thread, a collection of gamers got together to confess the cardinal sins that they routinely break to have fun with their video games. With increasingly challenging AAA video games and some kid on Fortnight screaming about your mama into the mic, it's hard not to get swept up in the emotional part of gaming–which is why most of the dudes in this next list have found their own solutions to still have a great time.
